Darrell Trigg - Managing Director


Darrell served his carpentry apprenticeship in Whangarei and has been in business in Northland for over 25 years.


Specialising in partnering with clients prior to having plans drawn up, Darrell firmly believes that early involvement of all parties in a project helps understand the outcomes, reduce risk and achieve the project deliverables in a hassle-free way.


Darrell has a clear understanding of how to extract the best value for the client by constantly testing the cost of the project from prior to design through to start of construction; he is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Building, the New Zealand Institute of Directors, and is a current Director of New Zealand Registered Master Builders Association


Darrell is also involved with the construction industry New Zealand-wide in many other roles.


Marlene Trigg – Administration Manager


Marlene has been with Darrell in the construction industry for over 25 years, managing the admin function of the business including creditors, debtors, compliance and human resources, and assisting with Health and Safety.


Marlene is also involved with major company policy decisions and shares Darrell’s passion for creating an enjoyable and effective workplace.


David Pook – Senior Quantity Surveyor /Contracts Manager


David is an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager with 35 years’ experience in complex construction, demolition and specialist heating & ventilating in Auckland.


With a focus on project efficiency and disciplined cost control, David works with the Site Managers to implement systems specific to the project. In this way, David ensures all information is captured accurately and the project is hassle free.


David manages the tender process, subcontract letting and account management, client liaison and reporting, general project administration and feasibility costing pre-construction, assisting clients with accurate information to assess the return on their investment.


Bronson Brown – Contract / Project Manager


Bronson has come from the commercial construction industry in Auckland, formerly with Naylor Love Construction.

 

Bronson has extensive experience as a commercial and residential Project Manager, Bronson has acquired his Site 2 LBP and is a competent professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex projects to time and budget. One of Bronson’s key attributes is building long lasting relationships with Clients and subcontractors resulting in the seamless delivery of his projects.

 

Bronson focuses on programming, Health and Safety, project administration and accurate record keeping to assist Trigg’s team of Site Managers with the overall management of your project, including cost management and on time delivery.

 

Bronson also heads Trigg’s Health and Safety team and works with clients, sub-contractors and all project participants to manage compliance to legislation, Trigg’s Policy, ensuring everyone returns home safely from Trigg’s sites.


Rhys Wasson – Site Manager


Rhys has been in the construction industry around Whangarei for over 35 years, gaining a wealth of experience in the wide variety of projects he’s managed over this period. His role within Trigg includes ensuring projects are completed as per the terms of the contract and required standard of finish.


Rhys manages all site functions including procurement of materials, subcontractors, Health and Safety, client requests, program and assist the project managers with cost control.


Rhys continues to lead the Trigg site teams in constructing many of the regions iconic structures.
